Anushka Sharon is an actress and Bollywood producer and actress. Her name has been praised for her acting and as one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988, Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is a Colonel (retd.) Her mother is the housewife. The elder brother of Anushka Karnesh Sharma was in the Merchant Navy and now is an independent film maker. Anushka Sharma graduated at the Army School, Bangalore and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka Sharma is a graduate with a Master's Degree in Economics. Anushka would like to be an actor or journalist and not a performer. Anushka moved to Mumbai following her graduation and began her studies at Elite Model Management, and was coached by the stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's first time as a fashion model was in 2017 in which she was a model for Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week followed by being selected by Rodricks to appear at his Spring Summer 2007 collection. Anushka's modelling career began at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. The model has since been featured in numerous campaigns, which include campaigns for Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modelling career, joined an acting school, and began auditioning for film roles. In 2008 Anushka Sharma made her acting debut with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. In order to prepare for the screening test, Anushka Sharma stayed a full day. She was later contracted to do three movies under the Yash Raj Films label. She played a role as the bride, who was young and was married to a man of middle in age (the persona Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was seen alongside Shahid Kapoor, Vi Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film was met with mixed receptions. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' in which she portrayed the role of a Punjabi middle-class girl who started her own business. The film received a positive review. Anushka had signed the contract for three films together with Yash Raj Films.
